Privacy Policy

Modern Pride Super Mart, trading as “Standard Crackers”, runs a physical crackers store in Hyderabad and this catalogue website. We are the data fiduciary / controller for the personal data described here. Contact details are in section 9.

Information you give us

• Quotation requests: your name, phone number, email address, city/area (optional), any notes you add, the products and quantities you selected, and your choices for “call me back” and “contact me with offers”.
• Orders (only if online ordering has been enabled for you): the above plus your delivery address and pincode. Card, UPI and bank details are entered directly on the payment provider’s page and are never seen or stored by us.
• Referral / rewards: if you use the refer-and-earn feature, your phone number, name and email are used to create a referral account and to credit cashback.
• Direct contact: anything you send us by phone, WhatsApp or email.

Information collected automatically

• Standard technical data logged by our hosting provider — IP address, browser/device type, pages visited, timestamps and referrer — used for security and to keep the site running. We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics; we do not build advertising profiles.
• A small number of functional cookies — see section 7.

We do not knowingly collect any sensitive personal data (e.g. financial account passwords, health, biometric or caste data).

• To prepare and send your quotation (by email and, where possible, WhatsApp) and the attached PDF.
• To call or message you back about your enquiry or order, and to answer your questions.
• To process and fulfil an order, and to issue an invoice, where online ordering applies to you.
• To operate the refer-and-earn programme, where you choose to use it.
• To send festive updates and offers — only if you ticked that box; you can opt out any time (see section 6).
• To secure the site, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law.

Our lawful bases are your consent (quotations, marketing), performance of a contract (orders), and our legitimate interests (security, responding to enquiries, keeping business records) — consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run this site, each bound to protect it and use it only on our instructions:

• Cloud database & file storage — to store your enquiry/order and generated PDFs.
• Email provider — to deliver your quotation and confirmations.
• WhatsApp Business (Meta) via our messaging tool — to send your quotation on WhatsApp when you provide a number. Meta processes the message per its own terms.
• Payment gateways (Cashfree, Razorpay) — only for orders, and only the details needed to take payment; they are PCI-DSS compliant and handle card/UPI data directly.
• Hosting & infrastructure provider — serves the website and keeps request logs.
• Google Maps — the store-location map embed is loaded from Google, which may set its own cookies.

We may also disclose data if required by a lawful request from a court or government authority, or to protect our rights, safety, or property, or those of others.

We take the security of your personal data seriously and use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect it against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse:

• Encryption in transit. The entire site is served over HTTPS/TLS, so information you submit through the forms is encrypted between your device and our servers.
• Restricted access. Your data is held with reputable cloud processors and is reachable only through server-side credentials that are never exposed to the browser. Access is limited to authorised personnel who need it to respond to your enquiry or order.
• Private documents. Quotation and invoice PDFs are stored in a non-public location and are shared only through time-limited, single-purpose links.
• No payment data on our systems. We never collect or store card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs or bank passwords. Payments happen entirely on the payment provider’s secure, PCI-DSS-compliant pages.
• Secret management. API keys and access tokens are kept as protected environment variables — never in the website code, the public repository, or anything sent to your browser.
• Data minimisation. We ask only for what we need to quote and contact you, and keep it only as long as necessary (see section 5).

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so while we strive to protect your personal data we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a personal-data breach that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board / relevant authority as required by law, and take steps to contain and remediate it.

Please help keep your data safe: send enquiries only through modernpridesupermart.com, keep any quotation links or order references we send you confidential, and never share an OTP, PIN, CVV or password with anyone — we will never ask for them.

• Quotation requests: up to 24 months from your last contact, then deleted or anonymised, unless it became an order.
• Orders & invoices: as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet tax, accounting and legal record-keeping obligations (typically up to 8 years).
• Marketing contacts: until you opt out, after which we suppress your details from future campaigns.
• Server logs: a short rolling period set by our hosting provider.

Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
• delete your data where it is no longer needed and we are not required to keep it;
• withdraw a consent you gave (this does not affect processing already carried out);
• stop sending you marketing messages — reply STOP on WhatsApp, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or tell us using the contacts below.

To exercise any of these, contact us using section 9. We may need to verify your identity (for example, the phone number on your enquiry) before acting. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

We keep cookies to a minimum and use them only for the site to work, not for advertising:

• sc_ordering, sc_ct — remember whether online ordering has been enabled for your browser. Set only if you open a special link we send you.
• vercel-flag-overrides — used by our team when previewing the site; not set for ordinary visitors.
• Google may set cookies through the embedded store-location map.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the ordering-related cookies are optional and the site works without them.

Please be careful. Other websites, mobile apps, social-media pages, marketplace listings or WhatsApp / phone numbers sometimes copy our business name, logo, product photos, catalogue, prices or even this policy to impersonate us or run scams (“copycat”, “spoof” or “phishing” sites). They are not operated by, authorised by, or connected to us.

• Our only official channels are: website modernpridesupermart.com, phone / WhatsApp +91 81432 17200, and email modernpridesupermart@gmail.com. Anything else claiming to be us should be treated as suspicious.
• We do not sell firecrackers online, do not take full online payment through this public site, and will never ask you for an OTP, card PIN, CVV, UPI PIN, bank password, gift-card codes, or remote access to your phone or computer — by any channel.
• If someone contacts you claiming to be Standard Crackers and asks for an advance, a “refundable deposit”, “delivery / GST charges”, or payment to a personal UPI ID or bank account, stop and verify by calling our official number above.
• The contents of this site — text, product data and images, the catalogue, pricing, and this policy — are provided for your personal reference only. They may not be scraped, copied, mirrored, reproduced or used to operate a competing, resale or impersonating service without our prior written permission. We reserve all rights and will pursue takedowns and legal remedies against impersonation and infringement.
• We are not responsible for any loss, payment or damage arising from your dealings with unofficial websites, sellers, numbers or intermediaries that are not listed above.

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
